Turkey is a one-of-a-kind treasure trove of natural and awe-inspiring beauty. It’s brimming with outdoor activities and adventures ready to be explored.

Turkey is an ideal destination for long-distance hiking trails, paragliding over the warm waters of the Mediterranean, mountain climbing, and plenty of other activities.

These are the top seven activities to do in Turkey that we recommend on our list of things to do:

Diving in the Reef

Scuba Diving

Scuba diving is a hugely popular sport in Turkey allowing swimmers to dive deep and appreciate the colorful corals and sea life in the Mediterranean, or to get lost in the historical wreckage nestled within the Aegean seabed.

Scuba diving is most popular in Kaş, Bodrum, Antalya, and Fethiye. Wreck diving, cave diving, and canyon exploration are all options.

Paragliding

Located near the Aegean Sea, Ephesus was once considered the most important Greek city and the most important trading center in the Mediterranean region. It is a sacred site for Christians due to its strong association with biblical figures such as Apostle Paul, John the Baptist, and Virgin Mary. It is also a tourist attraction for travelers on Mediterranean cruises. It used to be home to the Temple of Artemis which was included in the Seven Wonders of the World.

Gokova Bay in Turkey's Aegean region is a kiteboarding paradise known for its turquoise-colored sea and golden sand. Turkey has many centers for people who want to learn the sport at different skill levels, which can be found on the country's various beaches.

Windsurfing is a popular and thrilling water sport in Turkey; if a customer wants to try it, Turkey is a great place to start. Windsurfing, like kiteboarding, has a plethora of coaches and training facilities. Windsurfing is most popular along the Aegean coast, particularly in Alacati.

Rafting is one of the most exciting sports in Turkey, thanks to the country's beautiful landscapes and rivers. Rivers range in difficulty from 1 to 6. The best places to go rafting are the Köprülü Canyon in Antalya, the Fırtına River in Rize Province, and the Çoruh River in Artvin. All of which invite rafting enthusiasts to go on a rafting adventure and enjoy the foaming waters.
